Cynthia Lindner is an experienced Certified Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience working in the mental health professions, currently with a successful private practice on Long Island, NY.  She has specific expertise in applying the complementary modalities of guided imagery, hypnosis, and biofeedback for the purpose of attaining wellness, self-improvement, and with Doctor's referral, relief of pain and symptoms. She has a Masters in Counseling Psychology.  She is a frequent adjunct faculty member at NGH has been a workshop facilitator for National Board for Hypnotic Anesthesia conference in Phoenix AZ, where she met Dr. Wil Horton. She taught at an integrative medicine conference hosted by Methodist college in Omaha, NE., and she was President (2002-2004) of The American Psychotherapy and Medical Hypnotherapy Association and advisory board member. Cynthia hosted a radio show, the self-help hour, and has authored many articles about hypnosis, and NLP both for the public and for colleagues. She is a co-editor for the hypnotherapy page at allthingshealing.com. Cynthia herself has studied under some of the great thinkers and innovators of hypnosis and NLP known today such as Bill O’Hanlon, Dr Earnest Rossi, Dr Bernie Siegel, Dr. Jeffery Zieg, (all of whom were taught by Erickson himself) and the late Dr. David Cheek.
